1996 saw my first visit to the magnificent islands of Micronesia. I was so impressed with it's beauty both on land as underwater that I made a solemn pledge to myself : "I will return to Micronesia."
It was the richness in life and colours of the world underwater of Micronesia that made me decide to pick up scuba diving directly after I returned from my trip to Micronesia.
In those six years between my first visit and my second I dove on a lot of beautiful places around the world but still there was that feeling, a feeling of having missed out on diving the Manta's in Yap or the big drop offs of Palau. I needed to return there.
And here I am, 6 years later, this time accompanied by Diana, a first time diver who would fulfill here diving course on the first island we would visit : Kosrae. What a great way to start diving.
On the next pages I'll take you with us on our trip through Micronesia. On our visits to the Island of Kosrae, Yap and Palau. Brief stories in a Diary form and a lot of pictures are there for you to read and watch.
